Have you noticed your Facebook newsfeed has been algorithmically sorted again? Here’s how to fix it and see posts from most recent first.

Log in to Facebook
Click the down arrow in the top right corner of any Facebook page and select News Feed Preferences.
In the News Feed Preferences menu, select Most Recent.
Click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen
In order to change your Facebook news feed to most recent, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen
2. A drop-down menu will appear – select “news feed preferences”
3. On the next page, under “default ordering,” select “most recent”
4. Your news feed will now show the most recent posts first
A dropdown menu will appear. Select “News Feed Preferences.”
From there, you can select to prioritize who you want to see first, take a break from someone for 30 days, or unfollow someone altogether.
On the next page, under “Prioritize Who To See First,” select the people, Pages, or groups you want to see at the top of your News Feed
On your desktop, head to Facebook.com and log in. In the left-hand sidebar, under “Explore,” hover your cursor over News Feed Preferences. When the drop-down menu appears, select “See First.”
A pop-up window will appear with a list of all the people, Pages, and groups you follow on Facebook. To the right of each one is a checkmark. Select the checkmark next to the people, Pages, or groups you want to see at the top of your News Feed when you log in.
If you want to remove someone from this list, just select the checkmark to uncheck it. When you’re done making your selections, click “Close.”
Now when you log in to Facebook, instead of seeing whatever algorithmically determined posts are at the top of your News Feed, you’ll see posts from the people and Pages you selected—assuming they’ve posted since you last logged in, of course.
Under “Unfollow people to hide their posts,” select the people, Pages, or groups you want to unfollow
With so many friends and family members on Facebook, your News Feed can quickly become cluttered with posts you don’t care about. If you’ve had enough of someone’s posts clogging up your feed, you can unfollow them without unfriending them entirely. When you unfollow someone on Facebook, their posts will no longer show up in your News Feed.
To unfollow someone on Facebook:
Click at the top right of Facebook and select Settings.
Click News Feed in the left column.
Under “Unfollow people to hide their posts,” select the people, Pages, or groups you want to unfollow.
Click “Done”
Now that you’ve changed your settings, all you need to do is click “Done” in the upper right-hand corner of the page. That’s it! You should now see the most recent posts from your friends and Page
